Starring Pam Ferris and Sarah Lancashire, this series attracted more than ten million viewers in the UK. The series was nominated for four national Television Awards between 1997 and 1998 for Most Popular Actress and Most Popular Drama. It was a hugely successful prime-time drama for ITV1, and told the engaging story of family, love, life and people's ever-changing fortunes in rural England.

Set against the rugged landscape of Yorkshire, this popular programme follows the busy public and private lives of District Nurses, as they bring nursing and emotional care to the needy - young and old alike. This series, released by Network and never available on DVD before, contains all six episodes in a two-disc set.
