Nancherrow

Acorn Media has released Rosamunde Pilcher's Nancherrow as a double DVD. Starring Joanna Lumley, Katie Ryder-Richardson and Donald Sinden, Nancherrow continues the story of the Cornish ancestral home of, the Carey-Lewis family, first introduced in Rosamunde Pilcher's Coming Home.

When Colonel Carey-Lewis dies, his irrepressible daughter, Loveday, inherits Nancherrow and fights to keep it alive so that her son Nat will eventually take over from her. Unfortunately Loveday also takes on all the house's financial problems but is determined to battle on and starts devising new ways to make money.

Things are complicated further for Loveday when her only true love re-enters her life and her already shaky marriage finally crumbles. It is a time for much change for everyone at Nancherrow, the story of the Carey-Lewis' continuing friendship with the Dunbar family and their intertwined lives as they all struggle in Second World War Britain to hold on to all they know and love.
